Vimarc Show ’n’ Tell: Our 2020 American Advertising Awards Submissions

Show ’n’ Tell Time!

With the 2020 American Advertising Awards Gala occurring this month, many of Louisville’s brightest advertising agencies are chomping at the bit to see their work recognized with the long-standing and prestigious gold ADDY award.

Vimarc is no different, and because we love showcasing our hard work, we’re proud to share our 2020 Addy entries!

LEADER DOGS FOR THE BLIND – DINNER IN THE DARK

No other campaign has involved this much of the Vimarc staff on the creative side of things! This ad series was created to grab attention and entertain by indirectly asking the question, “How do people really behave when no one is watching?” The social media campaign was written by Brian Henson, designed by TJ Bean, and photographed by David Welker. As you can see, it featured several models (ahem) from the Vimarc team, including David, who had dual roles on this project.

KING’S BODY JEWELRY – HALLOWEEN CAMPAIGN

This Facebook campaign is probably the most violent, demented work Vimarc has ever produced. But when it comes to getting noticed during the onset of the year’s busiest retail season, how can you not go all out? It was designed and Photoshopped by David Welker and written by Braden Hazle.

LEADER DOGS FOR THE BLIND – GUIDE DOG VIDEO

What is a Leader Dog? What does it take to become a Leader Dog? How do people who are blind get matched with one? This explanatory video answers all of those questions and more. It was animated and edited by Jonathan Klingenfus.

LEADER DOGS FOR THE BLIND – FAMILY/CAREGIVER VIDEO

When someone who is blind or visually impaired returns home with a newly matched Leader Dog, not everyone in the household knows what to do. This video was created to provide important tips on how to interact with the Leader Dog and support their loved one. It was written by Brian Henson, and of course, animated and edited by Jonathan Klingenfus.

LEADER DOGS FOR THE BLIND – BLINDNESS AWARENESS MONTH LOGO

Inspired by the Braille reading method, TJ Bean designed this logo to be included in various executions that promoted this most important month.
