Vimarc recognizes 2016 achievements

2016 was a year for the record books – both around the world and for our agency right here in Louisville. Backed by more than three decades of business excellence, Vimarc’s core competencies in strategic marketing, advertising, digital communications, and public relations services facilitated a particularly momentous year for the company.

Vimarc celebrated 33 years in business in 2016

“We are proud to have represented some of the best in Louisville marketing and advertising over the past 33 years,” said Vimarc President and CEO Richmond Simpson. “We have the greatest clients, an elite staff, and a relentless passion for the work we do. We secured 23 industry awards throughout 2016, each recognizing excellence in creative output and campaign performance success

Notable accolades include those from the Kentucky Travel Association (KTIA), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and the Telly Awards which honor outstanding content for video distribution.

Individuals awards included ...

Abigail Page, our Integrated Communications Manager, was awarded the IABC / PRSA 2016 Rising Star award at the organizations' annual Landmarks of Excellence event.

Also featured was Andrew Norris, our copywriter and lovable class clown, who nailed down a 2016 AAF Louie Award for his work on an Antique River Logs project.

Vimarc welcomed five new, full-time team members to our employee roster

Fresh faces included important additions to our integrated communications, business development, creative and account service teams. Every new hire brought with them unique experiences and remarkable talent, so we’re beyond pumped to add their industry expertise to our fully integrated, yet streamlined series of client solutions. Plus, we get to add them to our awesome agency family!

2016 was chock FULL of personal achievements

Jessica Herman, one of our Account Managers and leading brand strategists, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world.

And our Art Director and in-house fashion guru Meghan Boyd found out she’s soon to be a mother for the third time, too!

In addition to growing families, various Vimarcians celebrated decades-long work anniversaries, the demolition of 600+ pots of coffee, a 4-years-in-the-making Office Clean Up Day, and more team GIF-offs than we can count. 

With all these milestones and more, the outlook for Vimarc is brighter than ever in 2017. We are excited to continue growing our diverse client base, nurturing this top-notch team, and expanding our capabilities and service offerings throughout.
